Nora, 24, works at a London tax office—worn down by complaints and the weight of always putting others first. One Sunday, she wanders into a small bakery and meets a peculiar gentleman who asks: "Which scene are you running away from?" That question, and the scent of fresh bread, begin to bring color back to her grey world.

ある日曜日、ふと立ち寄った小さなパン屋で、彼女は風変わりな紳士に出会う。
「あなたは、どこのシーンから逃げてきたんです？」
その問いかけと、焼きたてのパンの香りが、彼女の灰色の世界に少しずつ色を取り戻していく。

To see a work as it truly is, one needs distance—distance in space and distance in time.
In a gallery, the space between one painting and the next begins to breathe. In the creative process, time emerges between finishing one piece and beginning another: time to face oneself.
Within this interval of space and time, presence takes form.
In the making of AI films, countless still images are generated. When layered transparently, each image fades, and what emerges instead is the interval itself.
What remains unseen in the flow of the film becomes visible here: consciousness, unconsciousness, intuition, thought, choice, hesitation—their traces.
This work compresses the time and space produced in the filmmaking process onto a single plane. It is not about individual images or the film itself, but an attempt to observe the periphery of the entire creative process.
By compressing these traces into a flat surface, the work gradually blurs the boundaries between painting, film, and digital creation.
作品の本来の姿を見るには、距離がいる。
それは空間の距離であり、時間の距離でもある。
絵画の展示空間では、作品と作品のあいだの空間に息づかいが生まれ、制作の過程では、一枚が終わり、次の一枚を描くまでに自分と向き合う時間が生まれる。
その空間と時間の「間合い」に実体が宿る。
AI映画の制作では、膨大な静止画が生まれる。それらを透過させて重ねると、一枚一枚の存在は薄れ、代わりに「間合い」が浮かび上がる。
物語を追う中では見落としてしまうものが、ここに姿を現す。
意識、無意識、直感、思考、選択、迷い——その痕跡。
本作は、その映像制作の過程で生まれた時間と空間を平面に焼き付けたものだ。一枚一枚の画像や映画そのものではなく、制作プロセス全体の周縁を、かすかな像として顕在化させようとする試みである。
